Forest Preserve Districts

Preserving open space and nature is important to any county wide development plan.  It can eliminate the need for expensive drainage systems and actually reduce taxes in the long run.  In tandem with the Conservation Foundation, First Trust has assisted several forest preserve districts with strategically planning and passing open space referenda.  Additionally, First Trust helped one forest preserve district save over $3.0 million dollars by providing a better, more conservative long term structure of their limited bonds.
